The name of this tumblr is taken from Leonard Bernstein's I Hate Music! (song composed in 1943).

I'm pretty sure I started this tumblr in 2009 (I deleted many posts since then so I'm not sure). At first it was a classical music tumblr that later degenerated into what is today.

ihatemusic1943 is about many things. Some sources of inspiration include:

a tale of a few cities, Art Blart, Art Tattler, Haw-Lin, decapitate animals, Online Browsing, Images&Visions, La Lettre de la Photographie, PUTICLUB Q., Iconic Photos, Magnificent Ruin, etc.
